WHO I AM
My name is Piergiorgio, and I carry the energy of two of my ancestors in my name. But everyone here knows me as Pier and recognises me from afar by my ever-present red scarf, red backpack and yellow T-shirt.
A few years ago, I left Italy and a job in a bank to devote myself to my greatest passion: walking in the mountains and being surrounded by Nature. What better place than Gran Canaria to fulfil this desire, a place that offers much more than just sun and sea.
From the beginning of this adventure, it was very clear to me that I would accompany people in discovering the wonders of this island and, at the same time, connecting with their deepest emotions. To do this, I draw on my many years of training, which began with Northern European shamanism, continued with reiki and other energy disciplines, as well as active communication, and ended with training as a mountain guide and tour guide.
On the one hand, I comply with the requirements of the legislation of the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands, by ensuring the safety of my guests, while on the other hand, I have freedom of action among the multifaceted experiences that materialise when walking along trails.
MISSION
Nature always influences us, but only a conscious path allows the beneficial effects to reach a deeper level and act as a driving force to take us further along our path. Each step brings us closer to our essence.
That is why I have created Wandering Pier Gran Canaria: I want my guests to lose themselves in their senses while I take them through places that, with their smells, sights, sounds and contact with nature, leave an unforgettable mark, recharging our batteries that are exhausted by everyday life.
All this is accompanied by a deep knowledge of the geographical environment, its history and its peculiarities, so that each guest can choose from a wide range of possibilities.
Attention to details and personalised service with tailor-made walks are our hallmark, ensuring that everything flows smoothly and leaves an unforgettable impression, turning each guest into an ambassador for the riches offered by this beautiful island.
