How does the booking process work?
All you need to do is to contact us by email or phone, and then you can choose the most suitable tour based on your preferences and abilities.
Are there any age restrictions for the activities?
There are no restrictions, however, it is important to choose a tour that suits your preferences and abilities to ensure the best possible experience.
Where is the meeting point?
Depending on your choice, the meeting point will be shared via WhatsApp message, or you can be picked up at your accommodation if you wish to use the company's transport service.
Can transport be arranged?
If necessary, the company has a transport licence for a vehicle that can accommodate up to 4 passengers. For larger groups, suitable transport can be arranged.
Do I need to bring any equipment for the activities?
Hiking activities require, above all, suitable footwear, as well as clothing appropriate for the activity and, above all, the weather conditions. Personal medication is essential, as the guides are not authorised to provide medication, and a mobile phone is also required. The company provides walking sticks if necessary.
What equipment is essential?
The following items are essential:
- Hiking boots with good grip (the terrain is very slippery);
- Water (at least 2.0 litres, as dehydration is a risk that must be avoided);
- Personal medication (monitors are not authorised to provide medication);
- Mobile phone.
What equipment is recommended?
To ensure that the experience is enjoyable and leaves you with fond memories, we recommend the following:
- Coat (the weather on the island is very changeable);
- Windbreaker (may be useful depending on the season);
- Long trekking trousers (to avoid insects and chafing);
- Long-sleeved polyester T-shirt (to avoid insects and chafing, and to dry quickly);
- Cap (highly recommended on sunny days in the mountains);
- Mochila
- Walking sticks (included in the activities package);
- Snacks (there are no bars on the trails);
- Nuts;
- Fruit depending on the season/weather conditions (banana/apple/watermelon);
- A change of clothes (especially if it is very hot or if you are walking in the rain).
Are there rules to follow during activities?
As with all activities, there are common sense rules that can be summarised as follows:
- Notify us if anyone has a problem;
- Notify us if you want to stop for any reason;
- Do not overtake the guide;
- Do not litter;
- Do not smoke during the tour;
- Do not pick wild plants;
- Minors must be accompanied by their legal guardians or an authorised representative;
- Any breach of these rules will result in your exclusion from the insurance and the responsibility of the organising company.
Do the activities include drinks/food/snacks?
No, but they can be requested. In any case, participants are advised to bring a snack, lunch or fruit, and above all water. However, the monitors always carry something extra in case of need.
Is it necessary to bring documents?
It is always important to bring identification, not only for the reservation, but also in case it is required by public officials.
